I have an Emerson model LD280EM4, TV w/ built in DVD player in my fitness room. The remote stopped working, and with the TV mounted on the wall up high, playing a DVD became much more difficult. I bought the Emerson NH408UP to replace the remote control. It arrived, I installed the batteries, and it works. Problem solved.
