Fantastic bit of kit
Fantastic, this is a high quality item that is guaranteed by Dynaplug to make your repair permanent, this took me less then 30secs to fit one plug, test with soapy water, see it was still leaking air and put a second plug in which completely sealed the hole. I cannot speak highly enough of the ease of use, the quality and the money it has just saved me, I paid over £70 which may seem pricey but it has just saved me £230 on a new back tyre. This can also be used on car tyres, it's small enough to fit in your pocket, it is advisable to take a small air compressor if you have room, Dynaplug also sell a miniature pump that is rechargeabl. They say you should have a minimum of 10psi in your tyre so you have something to push against though I'm sure if you didn't you could still make it work. Dynaplug do sell cheaper versions of this tool, which I'm sure will work just as well but if your budget allows you to I'd recommend the Dynaplug Pro, it'll last you a lifetime, it'll make a great gift for a biker due to it's very compact size.In the photos from left to right I remixed the screw using the drill, I placed the 1st plug into the hole and tested with soapy water to see if it was still leaking air, it was, so holding the tail off the 1st plug to one side I placed a 2nd plug into the hole, I tested again with soapy water and the puncture was sealed, I've now done over 200 miles, some of those miles at high speed and 120 miles with a pillion, this is the only tyre plugger that AMA endorse because it is a permanent seal. So what is the difference between this and a normal tyre plug, its all to do with how the plug is inserted, a normal tyre plugger has to have the puncture site reamed out, this causes more damage to the internal structure of the tyre. The dynaplug stretches the rubber, there's no reaming of the puncture site required so no further damage is caused, you insert the tool into the hole, slowly pull it out and repeat if need be, dynaplug says you can use several plugs in one puncture, if the hole is jagged then you cannot use it, the hole must be round. This has got to be the best bit of kit I've seen and bought, an absolute must for any biker /car driver that doesn't want to be stranded.

Stainless!
I bought the stainless version of the Pro Xtreme; because why on earth would you want something made out of inferior aluminium when the same thing is available in stainless? Stainless is much heavier, harder, tougher, more corrosion resistant and more expensive. Wonderful! It is in fact very heavy: just the tail-end knob on its own weighs 200g. I reckon that a weighty handle can only help if you want to use it as a battering ram to get into a tough old bit of rubber. It is truly machined from a solid bar of stainless, and I like it. Unfortunately (?) I have not yet had a chance to use it, and frankly I hope I never do. In the meanwhile though I have one grand puncture repairer just in case.

Great idea, bought for piece of mind.
I bought this for piece of mind as my Jeep has an LPG tank in the spare wheel well and therefore I don’t carry a spare.Havnt needed to use it yet but the build quality in the stainless steel one is amazing and it feels like it will get me out of trouble if and when needed.

Not a good experience, not worth the money
Bought this for piece of mind, but using it today for the first time, it was anything but. There was no way I could get the plug into my vans tyre, I’m a 6ft builder by trade and wouldn’t class myself as weak by any means, but after struggling at the road side for 20-30mins with a mate also assisting, it was obvious this isn’t an easy option for tyre repairs,How it performs on motorbike tyres I couldn’t say, but this experience has left me disappointed especially at a cost of over £70 !Would I recommend it ?After this first experience, definitely not.
