The books are the right size for me, the print is easily read, and best of all they are hardback, so my book light attaches easily to the cover. I have found a few typos, but not enough to really even mention. I started reading all the Holmes stories with a big thick book with all stories included. But it was way too heavy to be pleasant, and the print was so small as to be uncomfortable. I donated that book and got this set and am much happier. As to the stories themselves, they are so good and timeless. The language is rather stilted, as is to be expected with something written in the 19th century. But if you can get past that, this book set will give you hours and hours of enjoyment. Review: Good quality at this price. - Having a new obsession with Sherlock Holmes, I researching for a set of the books and came across these. I must say that for the price these are a great set. Firstly it was packed extremely well, almost bulletproof. The hardcovers are very nice, smyth sewn binding with head and tail bands, along with a bookmark ribbon. Time will tell how they hold up, but on the surface seem very nice for this price. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | Best Sellers Rank | #239,715 in Books ( See Top 100 in Books ) #3,734 in Historical Thrillers (Books) | | Customer Reviews | 4.7 out of 5 stars 2,031 Reviews | ## Images ![Sherlock Holmes Complete 7 Books Hardback Collection Box Set (Adventures, Valley of Fear & His Last Bow, Return, Study in Scarlet & The Sign Sign of Four, Case-Book & Memoir) - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/6160CiWI8SL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent box set *by L***C on August 24, 2026* This is a very good set of Holmes adventures.
