Would buy again
Love this thing for the price. I use coal for heavy forging, this one works great for smaller projects or when I'm heating multiple things at once

Work great. Just what I needed.
It makes my Knife heat treating much easier. I make custom knives with 1095 steel and this unit allow me to heat treat process quickly.

Hoses can melt
Not a bad forge, two hoses, however, did melt when I was using just two of the burners. I did not hookup 2 of the hoses and that's when the melting occured, however, the company did send me replacement hoses.

One of my favorite budget purchases ever.
I don't give many 5 star ratings on Amazon because I'm usually hard on items. But this was the first forge I ever bought and it's shockingly awesome. I've had it for 3 years and it continues to impress. As I'm sure all of the other reviews say, you absolutely MUST use refractory cement and cover the ceramic wool or it's a serious health hazard. I've had to skim coat this a few times over the years, but it remains solid. I would recommend removing the doors and placing standard fire brick on the sides instead. Otherwise, I'm looking at getting the 2 burner because I need more heat for forge welding. Seriously, buy it. Just use refractory cement.

2 doors is a must. smaller things get hot faster ,open the back for long
definitely spend the extra money on the hardener and mastic coatings. i don't crank mine up full body and it gets plenty hot for working high carbon steel.

Great forge for the price.
No complaints. Great for the price. Only thing I can say negatively is it should come with a warning to let you know the insulation has to be coated before using. The insulation can mess up your lungs if itโs not coated. Plus, as the name implies, it makes the insulation more ridged I used a rigidizer from Simwool. Itโs simple to assemble and easy to use. For the money, itโs hard to beat.

Not a good first impression but seller made things right
I got the two burner model but only one works. The other nozzle was so poorly made, the burner just wistles 90% of the time (which means that side has heat damage because instead of blowing fire, its a heat sink as heat from the forge draws up the tube. In the picture of the jet, you can see how off-center the hole is and notice the hole is black because the hole isn't drilled straight through. The other nozzle is off center a little too but it at least stays on and doesn't cut out and whistle. Cant return it, can't exchange it and when I try to find info on the seller site it only points to more cheap forges and not a way to make the one I already purchased work like it should. If anyone knows where I can get an extra nozzle where the hole is at least somewhat drilled straight through, please let me know. Update: using the contact seller feature they confirmed the issue I was having and with what parts and they sent out a new tube and jet. I'll be happy to see what this baby does with both burners running.

Works well and heats quick.
I love it. Used to heat stock from 1x0.5x36 to forge a small sword. While I had to move the stock in and out to get an even heat due to the size, it worked really well, and heated the material fairly quickly too. Couldn't be happier.

Nice compact Forge!
Instructions indicated that on forge shutdown to remove the rubber hose Y to prevent damage from residual heat. I improved on that because restarting would mean handling hot parts. Applied sprayed on rigidizer, a great protector for the wool and improves efficiency. Another brick carefully cut would complete the floor.

Dangerous
Bought this forge and decided to soap test before using and luckily I did because the hose that came with it leaked badly right out of the box. Forge construction seems decent but very disappointed with this experience
