Water Right Trigger Spray Adjustable Garden Hose Nozzle, Black

I got this nozzle to use for primarily watering flower and vegetable gardens. I have not had or used this nozzle for very long and though it seems quite sturdy I have found that no matter how it adjusts it pretty much stays at the "blast" level. That strong of a stream is okay for watering at a distance but actually knocked over a few of my smaller planters and I had to water planted flowers and vegetables from a distance. There doesn't seem to be enough control at the trigger to minimize the water volume or the type of watering (i.e., "shower," "stream," etc. like some other nozzles offer). It serves a distance purpose well if you don't want to get up close and personal with what you are watering, and I think it would even be too strong of a blast to wash a vehicle unless you don't mind getting a lot of blow-back showering yourself. I gave it 3 stars for the fact that it gets the job done, and it does seem quite sturdy and well-made for the price.

Not sure why but this item seems slower than what it replaces. I might take it apart to see if there is a restriction. Works well besides that. Seems well made and doesn't leak. Very comfortable and easy to use-just not as much pressure as I would like.

I love this spray gun. It's the second one I've purchased, on for the front yard, one for the back. It is far better quality than any of the ones I saw at the local big box hardware stores, this simple yet sturdy sprayer feels good in the hand and works simply. It works perfectly with my Water Right coil hoses, and comes with a washer installed. It's water tight meaning no leaking from the bottom of the handle and the hose. I've read other not so flattering reviews and I don't get it, this is excellent quality and works as expected.

Like many reviewers have said, they are searching for a quality hose nozzle. I have bought so many and most are junk, made of plastic and don't last very long before they start hanging up and won't shut off. This nozzle is excellent. Very smooth operation. It is a metal nozzle covered with rubber. Very comfortable to hold. The operating parts and the body of the nozzle are all metal. Time will tell if this nozzle lasts. But at this point, it is clearly the best nozzle I have found.

Seems very well made. Should hold up to many drops on the pavement. My only disappointment is that it doesn't reduce down to a soft "flood" type setting for watering pots. However, you can spray of dirt from the house and bugs from the bushes.

DO NOT use in salt water environment. Bought the nozzle and a Water Right hose (which is, or should I say was, terrific) at the same time (2 years ago) for use on my boat and the nozzle hardware corroded and failed. What's worse is they are now seized together so I can't replace the nozzle rendering both hose and nozzle useless. I suspect it would be fine for its intended use in the garden, but I'm disappointed.

It came without a rubber washer, so it leaked. I had to go to the local hardware store and buy a rubber washer. works great now, but that was annoying and inconvenient.....

This is a really good spray, comfortable for my less-than- strong aging hands. I do think it's a litte too expensive, and if I had time and patience to look around the big box stores, might have done better.
