Perhaps personally i had bad luck with this one
Not impressed.Pros:Modest price for an 850w modular supply.Plenty of leads.Cons:The power switch at the rear of the unit broke after five or six uses. The main braid began to unravel slightly. Not impressed by the quality (again considering the modest price)Kept switching off and restarting at random intervals (the switch was broke on the ON position)- normally this can be attributed to a short on the motherboard or similar, however the previous supply and the new psu worked swimmingly.Summary:Perhaps personally i had bad luck with this one, but when two separate faults appear (not least one of which is a broken switch) I am led to believe that one should think twice about purchasing this unit.Much credit to Amazon - no problems with returning and speedy replacement with my new corsair psu. :)I paid an extra £40 for the superior Corsair and even dropped 100w for the modular 750w Corsair psu (which arrived very quickly). This is more than adequate for my games pc and runs my gforce gx770 4gb at full pelt. If you can afford a few extra quid, I would certainly recommend the upgrade.Sadly not a good experience from the Powercool model.

Dont touch it
After running for a few hours the PSU blew, unfortunately it looks like its also taken out my motherboard and CPU, close to £300 to replace the parts like for like. I just hope the rest of the system is OK otherwise its a very expensive repair.I wouldnt touch Powercool products with a barge pole ever again. They dont even supply enough cables , you would think that you would get a cable for each socket on the PSU... nope.

As quiet as you can imagine!
Upgrading from a noisy standard PSU to this Powercool has been quite an experience. I have a HTPC in my lounge that needs to stay quiet, and I mean quiet! I bit the bullet and invested in this beast after doing a lot of research. Powering up my system after replacing the PSU, I thought it was dud. No sound....but PC fired up! It has stayed quiet even after 3hrs of watching a movie. Love it!I will be back here in a hurry if this falls apart!!!

Great power supply
I had to replace the power supply on my desktop computer after the first one was killed when we had the boiler changed and the power was cut by the engineer during installation. I found this supply to be very easy to install as the user guides showed you what you were able to provide power to and how to lay it out to what you had installed as drives. One thing that I was impressed with was how quiet the power supply was when running.

had to return twice (I've had 2 of these units)- both blew in 3 months
Just to make other users aware- this product has failed in my system twice. I have a FX 8320 and an R9 290 wind-force card. The PSU blew twice and (strangely) lasted 3 months each time. I don't think that my system has a total power draw beyond it's capacity so I would not be able to recommend this. Nice packaging and cables, however. It may be more suitable for someone who is building a smaller system but cannot say it's any good for a gaming machine.

efficient power
A well made unit, with plenty of power outlets and connections. It has standard screw fittings and should fit most full sized pc cases.

Nice PSU!
This is not a top PSU but it's doing the job for an average PC. I am a bit concerned about the life of this power supply unit.
