I haven't actually tasted this as I gave it as a present. It certainly was received with great enthusiasm as the bottle is very pretty and the oil a lovely green colour. I like to give olive oil as a present and the bottle is a nice touch.

One of the best fresh olive oils around and comes in a lovely bottle. Cant go wrong with this. Probably my favorite choice to date.

Useless to say: the Ligurian Olive Oil from the Taggiasca Olives is the lightest and properly tastier olive oil presently on the market. No non-sense "peppery" taste, no bitter after taste, no strong smell of acidic fermentation, but a fresh, smooth and pleasant gourmet flavour that velvet your mouth and leave you with the craving for more.perfect to be eaten raw (crude), but excellent, if you can afford the cost, for cooking (As a Ligurian myself, I know too well the importance of a perfect olive oil in your kitchen larder!), as the "smoke point" (when the oil start burning, producing cancerous flakes and horrible tastes and smells) of this oil is to the 180 Celsius, the highest within vegetable oils. Normal price in Liguria from a local producer of a good olive oil: circa €17/20 per litre, so...all in all, good value for money. and, of course, the bottle shape and good appearance helps!
