America's War Machine: Vested Interests, Endless Conflicts

More depth concerning what exactly is the justification for all the wars that we have become involved in would have been nice. Otherwise it was an excellent book. It depicts America as the Neighborhood Bully, and this is not a revelation to me. More and more war machine to the point where everyone on the planet can be killed multiple times, yet we persist in getting into wars and making more and more weapons of mass destruction.

Great book, should be read by all war mongers. Pray for the USA.

Every citizen should read this book and write his/her Congressperson. We are locked in a terribly wasteful and dangerous web brought on by our military industrial economy. Eisenhower's warning has been lost over the course of the last 50 years and his predictions are coming back to haunt us. This is an exceptionally well written and balanced book.

An excellent view but there are better analyses available.

Good overview of the military industrial complex that President Eisenhower warned against.

My husband loved this book.

I know about the subject; only skip read as I would get more depressed if I read its entirety.
