Excellent product. dries milky over gold leaf then dries to a clear gloss. minor hiccup when wrong product sent. ( adhesive). Quickly rectified by seller with replacement. excellent customer service.

Leaves marks on chalk paint
I bought this to seal some gold leaf I had applied to chalk paint. I think it's done this job very well, however, where I went over the edge of the gold leaf, it marked the chalk paint to a darker shade, which I wasn't expecting. Apart from that, it was easy to use, although the brushes need to be cleaned in turps or mineral spirits which is worth knowing. This is a small bottle but it will last me years.
