Westerly Queen Size Microplush Electric Heated Blanket with Dual Controllers, Cream

I do like this blanket. It is warm and soft, 2 big criteria for me when buying a blanket. Additionally, the timer feature is very nice to have on an electric blanket. Having 2 separate controls is also a nice feature. The price was a very good value for the size and product.With that said, there are some things I did not like. For example the controls both require electric cord to be plugged into separate electrical sockets. Not convenient at all. The wires are very noticeable, which I don't mind, but mentioned for persons that may want to know. And finally, the blanket can warm the mattress surface to the point it is incredibly hot to the touch. I keep the heat lower for safety reasons.

These are the reasons I like this blanket....1 - it’s nice and thin...and very very soft2 - you can not feel the electrical cords unless you go hunting for them3 - it’s very lightweight on the bed (between thin comforter and top sheet)4 - it gets warm evenly throughout the blanket and also warms the bottom sheet nicely thru the top sheet...all areas are warmOnly one Con.....1 - the controller really needs to have buttons more pronounced so you can FEEL them to turn it off in the dark without any trouble.I highly recommend this blanket and will certainly come back here if it ever stops working and let you know. But for now....it’s a dream come true for feet that freeze at night especially!2020 edit: Three years later this blanket is STILL working as wonderfully as the day I got it!

Because our bedroom is in the back of the house, its on the cooler side in Winter. We replace our electric blankets yearly due to them getting a great deal of use. Usually the controllers wear out.The first thing I noticed about this blanket was how Soft it was, as well as how well it heated the bed. It was like getting into a warm bath that was dry and inviting!Here's hoping that this blanket lasts more than one year. I did however, purchase the warrant on it for added protection.

The headline almost says it all. This blanket is great - so soft and has more weight to it than I was expecting. It is very warm even without the electricity on, and can get downright steamy if you want it to. The heat seems fairly evenly distributed unlike other electric blankets that I have used in the past. The controls (it has two of them, one for each side of the blanket and unfortunately therefore requires two outlets) are simple as pie. You get a power button and up/down arrows to change the temperature and the amount of time it should stay on. I really, really love it so far so with any luck it will last for a while and not burn my house down. Here's hoping!

Have a Calif King bed, this King you sent me was way too big, should have ordered two single heating units. Works fine and is nice and soft. Have it between the top sheet and blankets. Weather in the -5, so a nice warm bed is nice. Also recommend you put a phone # on instructions sheet.Have no way of contacting you. Electric cords are heavy and do not allow easy mounting. Had to use Velcro to keep them down.Rex

I have been using this for almost a year now. Very happy with it. It’s light weight, very soft, and heat settings work great.Adding a revision:It looks as though over time some of the wiring has shifted. During our second winter of use some of the wiring has coiled together and the area gets so hot it burned an area the size of a nickel on my husbands elbow. It’s been weeks and it not completely healed. I tried working with the wires, but they keep coiling. Needless to say I trashed it.

I loved the blanket at first, but after trying it for a few days, we had problems with it sliding with the rest of the covers off on the floor to one side or the other. The temperature dials were more complicated than we preferred, we'd set them and then look a few minutes later, they were back on low. After about 7 days, they temp settings would have to be on high for the bed to get warm and the left side would go off and not work one time with the right side working or the right would work and the left not work. Craziest thing I've ever seen. We sent it back and ordered a different brand.

Very nice product. Gets warm very quickly and blanket is soft. Only drawback I felt is, the dual controllers plug holders are pretty tight to unplug from the blanket.
