Absolutely pointless because it's not a measuring spoon. Sure, it's good for scooping dry food out of bag but I could have bought this cheaper elsewhere.

Don't waste your money.
This is not half a cup measure, it's enormous. Also, the clip has no hinge or spring action, it's just two rigid bits of plastic. So there's no clip function at all. A real waste of money.
