Legend has it that in the 18th century a Spanish ship took refuge from a raging storm in the sheltered harbour of Dundee, Scotland. Its cargo included Seville oranges which were purchased on speculation by a Dundee grocer called James Keiller. It was Mrs. Keiller who saw the potential of these bitter Spanish oranges. She boiled the oranges with sugar and the resulting product was the delicious preserve now known as Dundee Orange Marmalade. Today the Keiller name carries forth the tradition of using only the finest ingredients in their range of premium marmalades and preserves.

Marmalade Lover
I have always preferred marmalade to jam/jelly and this Keiller Key Lime was defo a killer! The sweet-tarty aroma as you open the bottle is mouthwatering and the actual flavor doesn't disappoint either; at first there was a gentle sweet marmalade taste followed by an unmistakable lime tartness. The first time it caught me unawares, I was like hmmmm...ok, ok, then wow the lime aftertaste hit me; I was tempted to have a shot of tequila so as not to waste the lime lol. This is the kind of marmalade in which a little goes a long way there is definitely no need to layer for flavor. It will also not appeal to everyone - I think if you are the type that is not keen on a lingering lime taste or a sweet-tart ratio that leans more to the tart, then you might want to re-think getting this. On the other hand if you like a little extra `oomph' in your marmalade I highly recommend that you try the Keiller Key Lime.

(I tend to keep a good enough of pantry items in storage) We liked it ...
Husband and I finally opened this. (I tend to keep a good enough of pantry items in storage) We liked it very much. He is a huge fan of key lime stuff, so I knew he'd love it. For myself, there was just a ....tiny.....flavor that was a bit soap-like or perfume-y, but it was still good. And yes, I like marmalade. It's definitely this brand not the general product, that I was responding to.

Average taste.
I'm spoiled. This marmalade was excellent for so many years. It just tastes very average now. I'll keep looking for a replacement.

Really tasty marmalade. If you like lime, this is for you. As with the other flavor I bought, when my local supermarket closed down, I couldn't find this. Delighted to discover that Amazon carries it.

Keiller Key LIme Marmalade
First, I received the marmalade quickly--thank you! I thought the taste and flavor were great. I consider it a first class marmalade--no corners cut in this product. My recipe turned out just as I had hoped. The quality is excellent compared to the market today of cutting back (watering down foods to save a few dollars, cutting packaging smaller to give the consumer less and thinking we don't notice)I will absolutely recommend this product.Thank you for the service and great productNancy Halbleib
