My initial impression of this system was very favorable: the ease of connecting and the cable to the insert on my phone was great, the braided nylon around the cords added protection, and the LED that lit up when the connector was in place was cool!One of the first problems that popped up was that the LED was just too bright. With there being an opening for the LED on both sides, it's not like I could just turn it over, either. The light was so bright that I couldn't sleep with my iPhone next to me on my nightstand. I had to cover it up. Bug.In just a few weeks, the cable I had given my son failed. It wouldn't charge anymore. I checked--other cables from the set I bought worked on the device. I bought some "regular" cords for my son to use, and they've been working ever since, which is probably 15 or so months now.Not long after that, I noticed that my device didn't charge as quickly as it had while using a regular cable. Not a huge deal, but it was a bug rather than a feature.Then other connections started failing. Every now and then the cable would light up, but the phone would not recognize that it was charging. I've woken up several times to a dead phone when the charging LED had been on all night.So, I feel like I haven't even had these cables that long, only just long enough to know that they do not stand up to the test of time. Too bad--the product had a lot of promise. I'll be switching back to cords with the regular connection and I suspect I will experience quicker charging times and less dead phone batteries.

These are excellent! Better than I expected. So easy to connect and disconnect. No, you can't swing your phone around your head with this connected as it's not THAT strong. Love the blue charging light that lets you know it's connected properly as well as finished charging. Unlike similar products that I looked at, I love that the data transmission can happen no matter which way the cable is connected to the phone. The cable is very flexible and the quality of the overall build is excellent.

As I expected, it disconnects very easily. If you like to use your phone while it's charging this may not be for you. It's possible but you have to be very careful not to move the phone too much. I like it because if it's extremely easy to connect, just put it relatively close to your charge port and it snaps right to the phone. Main reason for purchasing was to safeguard my electronics from people tripping over wires and breaking my phone/tablet etc.. charging ports. It serves this purpose well because it disconnects easily, almost too easily..

Now I can easily charge my phone in the car with one hand without taking my other hand off the wheel.The magnet on the plug is quite strong and doesn't have any issues finding the cable when it comes close. It's also just as easy to disconnect the phone from the cable as well; I actually just grab my phone and let the cable disconnect itself. The nylon braiding is a nice touch and it feels really durable.I really appreciate this type of product because I have been looking for something like this forever! I haven't had any issues with connectivity I just attach it, and it works with fast charging if you have the right plug. I definitely will be buying more.

I love it, saves wear and tear on my iPad Pro port and it helps to keep out dust. Side movement will dislodge connection but the led let’s me know. That’s the only downside I have with the unit. Even that is minor compared with the worry of damaging the port over time. Plus the quality is very good. I would buy again

These work beautifully! Not sure what others are complaining about with the magnet not being strong enough and not being able to use it while plugged in etc. They work perfectly as described and I’m about to buy some iPhone ones now!

Pros: The cable itself is very strong. Quick charge is great with these cables.Cons: The magnet should be stronger. It disconnects too easy. And the blue LED light would be better on only one side. Since it is on both sides it will illuminate your entire room at night. Not good for light sensitve sleepers.

I was debating between ordering the five pack with three heads or only the Android heads. As I don't have anything with the c connector yet I chose the Android head to only period yet when I checked out it defaulted to the iPhone heads without my catching it and my stocking stuffers were ruined because we don't do Apple here.
