Your basic conventional wigwag flasher
I had one of these in a previous vehicle, and it kept on ticking for years, and was working when I took it out of the vehicle at trade-in time. I would have re-used it in the new vehicle, but I misplaced it and had to buy a new one...fortunately not an expensive item. It held up well even installed in the engine compartment, where it was exposed to climate and dirt. The new one will be installed in the dashboard, where its clicking will be an audible reminder that the wigwags are on, which should only be when responding to a call, not when just driving around. One thing important to remember: unlike an electronic flasher, this will not flash independently without a proper load connected to both legs. If only one lamp is connected it will just buzz, and a small LED won't draw enough current to make it flash. I'm using this to wigwag as pair of high beams and backup lamps, so it's perfect.

No Stars is what this deserves as well as the tech support
Advertised to work with LED's. It did not. I questioned the tech support who sent me a spec sheet which showed minimum load is 1 Lamp. Not much of a spec sheet. So I said I have a lamp but it does not work. And asked what is the minimum lamp wattage required to make the flasher work? I was told THEY WOULD NOT TELL ME OR SPECIFY WHAT LAMP IS REQUIRED. My guess is they do not know. I highly recommend not to buy this flasher.

Does not work with my low wattage LED lamps on ...
Does not work with my low wattage LED lamps on motorcycle. Thought it would work with LEDs. Do not want to add hot resistors to make this work

No wig wag yet
So far, have not had too much success with this flasher. Application is a large yard tractor rigged for snow blowing in Maine using pairs of l.e.d. lights (yellow in front, red at the rear). Perhaps the amperage draw from these lights is too minimal for this flasher to activate. Solutions graciously accepted so I can more honestly update this review.
