It works well, but will NOT give an M1 MAC a second external monitor.
Despite what I've seen on Youtube, this product will not enable multiple monitors on an M1 Mac, even with software ( as of July 2021 ). Multiple displays are possible but depend on a very expensive splitter that is software controlled. This product only does what it says on the box - and its solid manufacture should make it last well.

Work Great on Lenovo Yoga-910 - Good service, detailed specs
Good service and helpful support from these guys (though I didn't need any - just plugged it in). this worked fine on my Yoga-910 to project onto another screen via the USB-C port. Not many that work with the Yoga-910. U also appreciate the detailed specs - more so than many similar products seen on Amazon. They specify 60Hz - many others do not specify and I have seen several are specified as only 30Hz. Picture is very good on a 7 year old LG 47LE5900 TV (1920x1080) so I assume it is capable of a good quality display on higher definition screens.

Good
The adapter is slim and neat looking and works like a charm in my late-2016 MBP. Good price/performance compared to other adapters.

Does the job
It worked first time on my Dell XPS (unlike my Dell multi-port adapter which no longer works). Hopefully it will continue to do so.

Works but not at 4K@60Hz

The only adapter which worked reliably
I've tried CalDigit, MacAlly and several other brands. This was the only adapter which worked fine - without flickering and blackouts. Same applies for Plugable DP to HDMI adapter - the only device which works flawlessly.

Excellent with ARM-based Chromebook with USB C
Using this with an Asus Flip CA101 which is an OP1 (Rockchip 3399) based Chromebook with USB C with DisplayPort Alt mode. This little dongle lets me drive an external 1080p monitor as the internal screen is only 1280x800.Really makes the most of the Chromebook and allows multiple windowed Android apps to run on the external display (instead of running full screen on the internal display).

Excellent product. Works perfect in my Dell XPS 15
Excellent product. Works perfect in my Dell XPS 15. Running 1440p as the internal HDMI only supports 30hz - however 2160p @ 60hz is also perfect. Shame Dell haven't optimised their kit so that video and sound transfers over seamless, however suppose the tech is new
