Vinyl Office Chair Mat - for Hard Floor Tile Scratch, Mark, and Scuff Resistant Protection on Tile, Hardwood, Vinyl, Laminate (36" x 48")

Pros: I like the size of the mat, and that it had protective film on both sides. Cons: The photo clearly shows a white/frosted mat, and that it's supposedly shipped in an actual box. The mat I received is clear, which will work, but I'd hoped for a white/frosted one. Also, the mat wasn't shipped in a box. It was shipped sandwiched between two pieces of flat cardboard that were taped together with packing tape. At some point, the mat must have shifted around, because the side was sticking out of the cardboard and it had sustained some shipping damage along one edge. It's not worth messing with a return, so I'll use it as is. This thing is full of static, and picks up any minute bits of dust in the floor, despite sweeping thoroughly before placing the mat in the floor. It's in my sewing room, so I suspect it'll attract every tiny bit of lint and stray thread. I hope I can keep it reasonably clean.

It did not ship flat, but was rolled loosely enough that I am not seeing any curling on the edges. It seems of stiff enough material to keep from curling. It looks very nice, completely clear and a little shiny. Scuff marks may be an issue - it's shiny enough to show up finger prints, etc. I will update the review if anything changes.

Wasn't as flexible or sturdy as I had thought it would be but for the money it can't be beat. We just got it to use under the babies highchair until he stopped throwing food around. It was great for that.

My chair doesn't glide over it very easily and since it is on carpet, it always moves which defeats the purpose of why I have it there. I need another one for our second office but won't be buying this kind again.

It’s good just a little small. I feel like I cant move around too much in my desk chair while using this mat. Another issue is that it slides across the carpet a bit, it doesn’t stay put.

protects floor but also makes area more slippery. Fell out of chair twice. Chair slides more and mat slides over hard floors. Now i have to be extra careful if i want to protect my floors.

Like it very much, but it was a little thinner then I expected.All in all, does what I need it to do.
