Since there are only two 4000 footers in New York's Catskill Mountains, 3500' is the magic number for this high peaks list. To become an official member of the Catskill 3500 Club one must summit all 35 peaks, plus complete winter ascents of Slide, Blackhead, Balsam and Panther Mountains.
