Love this movie

I’m not going to review the film because there are plenty of reviews out there. This review is regarding the disc itself. I saw the film twice in the theater and two more times on digital from the code that came with this disc. I only decided to put on the 4K disc yesterday after owning it for over a year. So there’s no returning it now. Buyer beware!! This disc is glitchy as heck. It froze up the first time at approximately the 1 hour mark and again a few minutes later. And then again. And again. Besides freezing up it makes popping noises and pixelates. Of course I can’t return it after all this time. I have a very good player and have never had trouble with any other disks. I also don’t think the visual quality is as good as it should be. The blacks are kind of gray and even the sound is somehow off. I’ll just wait until there’s a nice 4K box set of all the films from a good boutique label, and in the meantime I still have the digital copy for viewing - which actually does look great btw, but for those who are only interested in this film make sure you play it within the return time frame in case you get a bad disk too. I will add that I’ve bought hundreds of disks from Amazon over the years and this is the first time I’ve ever had an issue.
