My bf and I recently moved house, and one of the things we knew we wanted was a camera so we could keep an eye on our boy, give him treats and say hi when he was home alone.When it arrived, I thought the packaging was gorgeous, really sturdy and luxurious. It was a little bigger than we anticipated, but all that means is there is more space for treats. It comes with instructions in loads of languages, but once you download the app it walks you through the steps anyway.It’s easy to set up, and very easy to use, one of the best features in my opinion is the customisation of notifications on the app, so I can be alerted if there’s noise or movement!The camera has a really wide angle so you can see virtually all of the room, and is good quality. You can also take snapshots as well as recordings of what your pet has been up to, which is adorable!We’re still working on finding the perfect treat, as at the moment they are thrown sporadically around (or don’t come out at all), but so far that has been our only disadvantage! It does make quite a bit of noise when treats are being dispensed, and I can see this maybe being a problem with more nervous dogs, but with positive reinforcement I’m sure it could easily be over come!Ours is standing on a shelf, but it can be mounted to a wall if desired. It’s really sturdy, and has grippy feet so I’m not worried about it falling over.Overall I’m really happy with the product and can’t wait to keep using it!

I found this product really easy to set up. You download the app then plug in the unit and the app steps you through the process. I had it up and running in about 3 minutes, much to my dog's delight.The unit itself is a little bigger than I expected but it is very sleek and unassuming looking so it blends in nicely on the shelf. I did have a bit of trouble finding the right treats as it jammed a few times when I first filled it up. I am currently using these Pooch and Mutt Calm and Relaxed Treats for Dogs 125 g (Pack of 3) which seem to be working - occasionally it does fling three at a time but my dog doesn't mind.The app is fairly straight forward and during your free trial, will record 10 days worth of videos which you can download to your mobile. You can also take photos or stream live to Facebook from the app. I did have trouble figuring out how to speak through it but you just have to click the cog in the top right of the screen and turn on the sound for 2 way communication.When dispensing treats the unit is quite loud which my dog was nervous of at first but he quickly got over it when he realised the noise means a treat will come. It is adorable watching his face on the camera as he waits for the treat to shoot out.All in all it's a fun bit of pet tech, I quite like the fact it notifies you of any motion so it does provide a sense of security if your pet is home alone. Would make a great Christmas gift for a pet lover on your list.

Pros - being able to keep an eye on our pets. Image quality is generally good. Great dispenser function works and can be triggered using Alexa.Cons- I feel like I was misled about alerts and recording features (which is what made me return an alternative product and order this one). A monthly subscription is required which was not made clear in the product description.This combined with the terrible voice quality, the hit and miss connectivity and the fact the product was £30 cheaper the day after I ordered makes me feel I got poor value for money.Unit is also massive so make sure you have somewhere suitable to place it!Finally, I would like to see the option to turn off the camera and microphone in the app. Currently I have to turn off the powr supply to achieve this.

As much as I like the sleek design and very pleasant look. It doesn’t work for cat treats which are way too small for proper dispensing. It won’t dispense many at once, it will dispense all treats at once in an explosion manner, covering the entire room. If treats were large enough - for dogs - that would have worked I believe
