Kitchen knife sharpner set steel diamond,ceramic sharpeners kit tool for handheld portable pocket knifes, professional kitchen sharpening system work folding

I bought this sharpener to sharpen both pocket knives and kitchen knives. I started by trying to sharpen a really dull pocket knife. The sharpener did get the knife a little bit sharper but not sharp enough for a pocket knife. I ran the knife through the sharpener hundreds of times. I gave up on the pocket knife and went to sharpen my expensive kitchen knives. Again, the sharpener sharpened them a little, but they are nowhere near as sharp as they can be (when I use a different sharpener). My kitchen knives are German, not Japanese, so I assume they should be sharpened by this sharpener. It might be that trying to sharpen the pocket knife ruined the sharpener, I am not sure, but this sharpener just isn't good enough for my needs. I would say it is just average.

Have used on several knives and have found it does sharpen them to a certain degree. Not sure would recommend as a long-term solution though. The knives are not as sharp as desired. The fine sharpening material seems somewhat fragile.Amended 09-23-18; the company sent a NEW sharpener and apologized for the original one, which they believe may be defective. So far, the new sharpener sharpens knives just fine.

Overall, this is a pretty good knife sharpener for the price you pay. I’ve been using it for several months now and it’s holding up fairly well. However, one star down for the durability of the metal. I noticed a tiny chip occurred on the sharpener when sharpening my knife. Other than that, it gets my kitchen knives very sharp and it’s easy to use.

Great knife sharpener. My dull knifes are now working great. Worth the money. Even the cheap knifes are now working. Don't invest in new knifes until you try this product out. It was simple to use too. Also small en to fit in my kitchen drawers.However, only made for straight knives. Not for serrated knifes. Also cannot put this product in water.

I bought this sharpener a few weeks ago, and I’m so glad I did! My old one (about 30 years old), was not working that well and was leaving black streaks on anything I cut, no matter how I tried to clean it. I have fairly new Cutco knives and treat them with kid gloves, but my favorite knife is an old 3” cheapie that I refuse to give up, I love it! This sharpener has given it new life, my favorite go-to piece is now as sharp as a razor, and I’m confident it now has many more years in it. Buy this sharpener, you won’t regret it!

small, compact, easy to store and seems to do a good job but have only had it a month. Prefer to give reviews after a longer period of time has passed so trying to be as fair as I can

Overall it does its job, but makes white table dirty because of a black rubber.Don’t use on expensive knifes, they require absolutely different sharpening process. I have destroyed mine and had to fix using Spyderco triangle.

I’ve tried many sharpeners. A good steel probably works as good as this, but they tend to wear down after a while and stop sharpening as well. This was a good buy and works very well. Easy to use. I bought one for my sister as well and she is very happy with it. Would recommend, especially for the money. Gets my blades super sharp which is MUCH SAFER than a dull blade!
