HiFi Speaker Wire - Speaker Cable with Gold Plated Banana Plugs -12AWG (OFC), 8.2FT x 2 Cables, White & Transparent Braid

I have an older set of Audioquest solid core speaker wire that I thought were the best speaker wires for my system. I have a Yamaha Aventage receiver and B&W tower speakers. The system sounded great but one of the speakers in the tower started to cutout. My suspicion was that there was a bad connection of the solid core wire in the banana plug. I purchased 2 sets of the Hannlinte speaker wire as the speakers are Bi-Amped. I was mostly looking for a better connection with the banana plugs that are already installed on the new speaker wire. To my surprise, I not only got a better connection, as my speaker no longer cut out but the sound improvement was quite noticeable. The sound is more vibrant, has better clarity, and is more powerful, especially at lower volumes. I wasn't expecting a sound improvement, but I am thrilled that there is.To make sure this wasn't a placebo effect; I moved the solid core wires to another sound system and in fact lost the clarity and vibrancy. My suspicion is that the solid core wire gauge was too small, in addition to the poor connections in the banana plugs.The Hannlinte wires are a bit expensive but are well built; correctly color coded and has improved my system tremendously.

I couldn't get myself to install them. For $90 speaker wires, I expect the banana plugs to be on the correct wires.

I have real Kimber kable that I've had for years. With this application I didn't feel cost was justified. I had just normal speaker wire on this little desk setup but wanted more. Got these guys and I am really liking the sound. Definitely made the low end more noticeable.

I had no issues with the construction of these. I feel they are a great value for these. I wanted them in Oxygen free sliver but those are close to $2000 so very happy with these for $90.
