Each Taku Honey UMF manuka honey jar states its level of naturally occurring methylglyoxal (MG). MG has been identified as one of the main organic compounds responsible for the stable anti-bacterial activity for which manuka honey has become globally renowned. Taku Honey states the MG content of its honey, as well as its UMF level, so that direct comparisons can be made with other manuka honeys that show MG content on their labels. Products claiming to be manuka honey but showing neither a UMF nor an MG rating are unlikley to be genuine.

Golden Manuka Honey :)
This honey is really good, I've tried other brands and were nice but this one has a very tasty and thick consistency and a very noticeable golden colour. Taku Honey is also registered as UMFHA member which gives the comfort of buying genuine manuka honey. Happy with this product!

I started using this honey after having a long bout of having colds after colds. I take a tea spoon in hot water and lemon first thing in the morning and have done for the past month. I feel better than I have in months!
