Great old school pressure cooker
I had send back the 4 litre pressure cooker to Amazon only because it proved too small for my requirement & because Amazon does not offer the 6 litre alternative I was obliged to order direct from Prestige.Saying that the reurn/refund through Amazon was handled with no problem & extremely quickly, so kudos where it belongs.However I would say if the 4 litre works & performs as well as the 6 litre the I have no hesitation in recommending.The pressure cooker being stainless steel worked perfectly on my induction hob. Had to watch it first time cooking to ensure I got the hob setting right to ensure a steady steam release but found that no problem. The cooking results were suburb.The only thing I would add is the 4 litre cooker when it arrived did not come c/w a trivet or separating basket where the 6 litre ditect from Prestige did. However these are easily & cheap to obtain & that's the only reason it gets 4 stars instead of 5.I have in my time cooked using Tower & Kuhn models which are far more expensive but this Prestige cooker is old school in operation & far more easy to use than the alternatives I've previously used.

Don’t purchase!
Not a good product. The whistle doesn’t work and there is a leak in first use itself. Thought it would be good one but really disgusted with the purchase.

Time saving!
I have used a prestige pressure cooker for over 50 years and this was to replace an old cooker! Use it regularly for making casseroles, stew,& vegetables.Prestige always make very good quality pressure cookers and this one is the 2nd cooker I have used for the whole of our married life of 56 years!

Great BUT, disappointed that it didn’t have a rack/ something to put food in like my previous one ( same brand )

Easy to use
I’ve always had a prestige pressure cooker since I’ve been married over 50 years. This one doesn’t have a fiddly plastic bit where the weight is it also has two weights 8lbs and 12 lbs which is excellent. My other cooker was old and I decided to replace it and I’m glad I did
