3Sets of Connectors for Garden Water Hose Expanding Hose Female Male Repair Kit

The description says "do not fit for some brand thicker fiber cover expandable hoses" which is rather vague. There are no dimensions given in relation to what they will or will not fit. I managed to get them onto my hose and seemed OK but the first one failed (blew off the end of the hose) after a few minutes. Replaced it and the second one worked for a few days before it blew apart at the joint - the plastic thread failed. They are relatively cheap but the quality is not great.

The hose connectors arrived on time and well packaged. Unusually the instructions were clear and easy to follow. They fitted as they are supposed to and the repair is working, compared to other unions these are competitively priced and good value for money

Thought that they would not work but worth trying. I was wrong they were soot on joined hose and happy days

In the past thrown away two expandable hoses due leaks. Found this kit a gave it a go! Instructions are fine but do hold it as in pictures……. You’ll need thin pliers or pinchers to pull thru outer case…..also washing up liquid applied to white bezel and the black tube so it just slips over with little pressure…..plus clean cut of outer pipe casing to minimise snagging when linking the bits……to get thread to join requires some pressureOnce mastered second part of the join took just five minutes! Has held on high pressure

Works really well , with no leaks. The only thing which would be an improvement would be the instructions and informing when cutting the hose to hold on to the inner inner rubber hose as this will retract inside the outer sleeve and can be difficult to retrieve. Otherwise good repair kit.

Just what was needed to repair expandable hose slight downside make sure to follow instructions properly.
