Does work, but some drawbacks
This mask is moisturising and does soak into your skin overnight, it does not mark your pillow and smells vaguely of cucumbers. You remove the sachet from inside the cardboard and then massage the contents into your face, then sleep with it on overnight. On waking my skin was hydrated and looked well even though I had not had enough sleep.Problems that I had with this mask: Excess packaging - a sachet inside cardboard - why? It took a few minutes to massage all the mask into my skin, which felt sticky afterwards. I then inadvertently scratched my face and came away with a fingernail full of gunk (gross). Although the mask contains no colour so would not mark your pillowcase, it is a bit oily so I had to sleep with tissues on the pillowcase as I didn't want any of the mask soaking into the fabric. On waking the mask had soaked into my skin except for the t-zone which was oily as heck. Rinsing the mask away took a good while too as it turns into a slippery thing a bit like soap.Overall, the mask does work, it moisturises and makes your skin look 'refreshed'. However, it's a bit too much faff for me and I hate waking up with a T-zone dripping with oil.

Not for sensitive skin.
Yes to cucumbers sleeping mask............This is a cardboard βhanging packβ which contains a small sachet ( around the size you get as a free sample in a magazine).Product........This is a thick white cream with a strong cucumber scent. The small sachet contained more than enough for my face and so I used it on my decoupage and even the backs of my hands. On the face it feels sticky and greasy, if I rubbed my fingers over my skin it came off in white gunky rolls of cream.Use.....The idea is to put this on right before bed.... which I wouldnβt advise for the simple reason that if your skin starts to react adversely to it you are left with it on for the whole night and could awake to problems which could have be avoided if you had chance to wash it off.I say this because my skin and eyes reacted badly to this, itching and burning- luckily I was able to wash it off because Iβd taken my own advice and not used it immediately before bed!Washing it off...........I removed this before a whole night had passed because of a bad reaction to it, so it hadnβt had chance to soak in, but it was very slimy to remove and needed a good quality face wash to get it gone.

Not For Me
This is an overnight sleep mask β mask as in gloopy cream, not a fibre/paper mask to put on the face. Although I didn't realise this before putting it on my face, I couldn't bear to put my head on the pillow with sticky cream on. There was no way I could use it as an overnight mask, it's just too messy on my bedding, not to mention long hair being clarted in it. I'd only put it on my cheeks, nose and chin (no way on forehead with a fringe overnight) so there was enough left to apply to cheeks, nose and chin the next morning and leave it on for a couple of hours. I used a wet flannel to remove the semi-set cream, and afterwards my face felt soft and moisturised. All in all, an overnight mask is certainly not for me as it is bound to soak into the pillow, hair and duvet before morning. I can't think of any of my friends who would want it in their hair and bedding either so I won't be recommending it to them.

Expensive for a one-off treatment
My wife tried this out last night:Once you have unwrapped this (overpackaged) sachet of face mask cream, there is just enough to cover face and neck thoroughly. It has a pleasant cucumber/aloevera type of scent. The cream is white but disappears into the skin quite quickly, with a slight tingling feeling. Make sure you do not get any in your eyes though!Overnight it was nice not to look or feel like your face was smothered in a cream, and I found this mask was good on my oily skin - it did not feel greasy. Plus it left no trace on my pillow. Washing it off in the shower was easy, and my skin initially looked and felt a little bit smoother and pores were less visible. However, the effect did not last long into the day....the mask may be handy for the occasional pick me up on your skin, but for the price of nearly Β£5 it is not one I would regularly use. So it is back to the normal night moisturiser for me.
