If you have thick calves, these have enough give that they stretch without the color fading out or make you feel like you're cutting off your circulation.

This is my first ever amazon review, mostly just cause I thought it was important to let others purchasing know that the sizing seems incredibly inconsistent between colors.I got the red ones with white stripes first, & i absolutely love them. they fit fantastic & the material feels great.But then i got these ones, (black with white stripe) & i can't even get them over my calves cause they don't seem to stretch at all like the red ones do. at first i thought maybe i bought the wrong size but they all seem to be one size fits all on here!

These were exactly what I needed for daughter's Halloween costume!!

I've always had issues getting knee high socks to actually be knee high socks, I have "wide" legs and these are super stretchy and even stretched over sweatpants with ease.

As many other reviews have stated, these are on the thinner side. However as a curvier woman who can usually *just* get regular width boots zipped up on her calves, I had no trouble getting these on. I was wearing them over black leggings, and while you could definitely see where the leggings ended, it wasn't from being stretched out too much, just from thinner material. I recommend these and have ordered myself another pair!

If you have thicker thighs and calf’s these are the socks for you. I love them.
