I also used a bottle and half for a wing chair with cushion. Depending on the size I would think one bottle per person ie if its a two person sofa at least 2 bottles. It will also depend on how dark the color that you want to cover how many coats you will need. **Q: Does this need to be heat set? I'm painting a sofa and don't want a product that requires heat setting. Thanks! Paula** A: I used this to paint both a sofa and a chair. I did not heat set either of them. Two years later for the couch and one year later on the chair and no color has bled. Both have been wiped with a damp cloth, but nothing has ever been spilled on either. Good luck. I had good results with this stuff! **Q: I will be painting an upholstered sofa. i do not want a shiny/vinyl look when dry. if i use flat/matte paint will i get a non shiny surface?** A: If you use a matte paint then you will have a matte finish. Please note we do not recommend using any of our products on upholstery. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ OK *by E***N on 21 December 2018* Not realy noticed a difference .. But I'm shore its me using it wrong ### ⭐⭐⭐ Costly *by M***S on 6 November 2018* Not brilliant takes loads to cover, works out expensive ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review *by C***4 on 29 September 2016* J'ai acheté le Medium en complément d'une peinture acrylique noire pour peindre des dessus de chaises en tissus couleur or. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.be/products/52124709-plaid-delta-ceramcoat-painters-helper-textile-medium-8oz-other-multicoloured](https://www.desertcart.be/products/52124709-plaid-delta-ceramcoat-painters-helper-textile-medium-8oz-other-multicoloured) --- *Product available on Desertcart Belgium* *Store origin: BE* *Last updated: 2026-11-08*
