Great USB stick for the price
Pretty decent for under £7, connected hardware speeds clearly cause variations based on previous review screenshots but I found it pretty fast in normal conditions.

Brill bit of kit fast read and right and scarily cheap what is there not to like.

Kingston DataTraveler Exodia Onyx 256GB: Fast, Affordable, and Stylish
The Kingston DataTraveler Exodia Onyx 256GB USB flash drive is a great option if you're looking for reliable, high-capacity storage with a sleek design at a budget-friendly price. After using it for a while, here are my thoughts:Pros:1. Fast and Efficient Performance: With USB 3.2 Gen 1, the drive offers solid transfer speeds. While the listed write speed of 10,000 MB/s may be more theoretical, in practical use, it's fast enough for most tasks like transferring large files, photos, and videos.2. Sleek, Compact Design: The matte black casing looks modern and minimalistic, and the build feels durable. It's compact enough to easily slip into a pocket or attach to a key ring using the integrated loop.3. Moving Cap Design: The retractable connector is a great feature that eliminates the worry of losing the cap. The sliding mechanism works smoothly and securely protects the USB connector when not in use.4. Great Value for Money: At its discounted price, you're getting a huge 256GB of storage for a fraction of the original cost. It’s hard to beat this price-to-storage ratio, especially from a trusted brand like Kingston.5. Key Ring Loop: The built-in loop is convenient for attaching the drive to keychains or lanyards, making it easy to carry around without losing it.Cons:1. Not the Fastest Speeds: While it's a USB 3.2 Gen 1 drive, the speeds are decent but not the fastest available. If you're dealing with massive files and need ultra-high-speed transfers, you might want to look for a higher-end drive. For most day-to-day uses, however, this will do the job just fine.2. Plastic Build: While the matte finish gives it a stylish look, the casing is made of plastic, which may feel a bit less premium compared to metal-bodied USB drives. It’s not a deal-breaker, but something to consider if you’re looking for ultra-durability.3. No LED Indicator: Some users might miss having an LED light to indicate when the drive is in use or when data transfers are happening. It's a small feature that can be handy for ensuring the drive is properly connected and active.Final Thoughts:The Kingston DataTraveler Exodia Onyx 256GB is a great choice for anyone needing a large amount of portable storage at a great price. It's sleek, practical, and performs well for general use, though it might not satisfy those looking for top-tier speed or a more rugged design. For the price, it’s an excellent value and a reliable solution for everyday data storage needs.

Good budget USB drive, for storing files and media.
I bought this mainly because my phone was running out of space and I wanted to move my photos and videos from my phone to this. Since the purpose of this was to just simply move some files for what is essentially an every now and then usage it does the job well and the read/write speed isn't of significant importance as it just means it will take longer to move the files, but for anyone who is curious I will attach a picture of the speeds.I bought the 256gb model for £11 and I consider this to be a good purchase, for storing files and media. My only issue was that for some odd reason the USB drive was malfunctioning when I attempted to move some more files away from my phone onto it after having done so before for a little bit and was asking that I format the drive to make it usable, so I moved everything onto my pc temporarily from my drive and formatted the USB drive to exFAT which made it function again for my phone, this was done via an OTG cable I should mention too.

STAY CLEAR! Utter waste of money!!
Worked for about a year (with extremely minimal use) then suddenly stopped working. Not recognised by my PC - under "This PC", "Device Manager" or "Disk Management" under a Command Prompt so couldn't even repair or format it. It also had extremely slow speeds when it did work. And going through some of the reviews for this, I see I'm not the only one this has happened to. AVOID!!!

Highly recommend, Very reliable.
It’s a great size with a very nice design. I haven’t noticed any problems with it getting too hot or disconnecting while playing games or any other activity. It’s very easy to use. The durability could be better on the slider, but the USB itself is very durable. Overall, we all know Kingston is great when it comes to this sort of stuff.
