I love having an extendible net and like that I can take it apart for travel. However the net is not a fine mesh and small insects can (and have) escaped. It’s fine for Lepidoptera which is what it’s marketed for but I will be making my own new net with canvas and a fine mesh tip so I can do some good sweeping for insects in the brush. I do like the net frame very much though.

For the price I exlected a product of higher quality. There is nothing about its construction to suggest it is an item of value. I too late discovered similar items of higher quality and lower price at the local sporting goods store. I bought this item only to use to capture hapless birds that come into my house and are unable to escape. I'll keep it because I don't expect to use it more than once or twice a season. Would I buy it again? No. Do I recommend it? No. If i had regular use of a net, I'd buy another but not this one.

Fantastic, no wonder Trump wants a tariff on China's good. Just to see how cleverly it is made is worth the price. Easy to handle for this 84 year- old man.

It works for catching my parakeets when they are misbehaving and trying to fly away from me. I especially like the telescopic handle to reach them when my arm isn't long enough.

Once or twice a year hummingbirds manage to get in to the house. This long-handled net has a fine, lightweight mesh suitable for capturing delicate hummingbirds without injuring them. The telescoping handle is sufficiently sturdy for bird-catching purposes.

It’s an excellent product it’s just that now that I got it the amount of white Catapillar butterfly is is insurmountable I spent all my waking hours of running around with this net trying to catch him so I have to come up with a different solution then the net

I expected this to have a finer mesh to catch fruit flies and other small insects. The handle seems sturdy enough and I like that you can adjust the length of the handle. Not exactly what I wanted but ok. I'd like to find a quality item with a finer mesh, and I have found that it's difficult to come by, so I'll just have to construct my own. Not rocket science.
