Worth the price and does the job.
Easy and simple setup. Wasn't able to get remote learning not sure missed anything or the process needs improvements. Also schedule is fixed to fixed timings does not have the option like set turn off after an hour....needs improvements to software for this. Was able to setup with an old AC and works.

⭐ 1 Star – Constantly Disconnecting, Not Reliable
⭐ 1 Star – Constantly Disconnecting, Not Reliable (Engineer’s Review) As an electrical engineer, I bought the Aziot Smart IR Blaster hoping to integrate it with my smart home setup using the Smart Life app. It seemed promising, and the ratings looked decent. Unfortunately, the actual experience has been extremely frustrating and disappointing. ⚙️ Setup & Initial Impression: Device connected easily to 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi (Smart Life app). Powered using a genuine Apple 5W adapter The device was placed just near to my router — full signal strength, no network congestion. Initially worked fine for a few hours, controlling IR appliances like TV and AC. ❗ Core Problems: The device frequently goes offline in the Smart Life app, sometimes within hours of setup. Becomes completely unresponsive, requiring a manual power cycle to bring it back. There is no load connected — it only emits IR signals, so power consumption is minimal. I confirmed that Wi-Fi signal was not the issue — every other device near it stays online without problems. 🔍 Troubleshooting Done: Verified power supply using different cables and adapters (all stable). Reserved a static IP via router DHCP settings. Changed Wi-Fi channels to avoid interference. Disabled AP/client isolation on router. Reinstalled the app, reset the device multiple times, and checked for firmware updates. After all of this, the problem still persists. The device continues to randomly go offline and remains unusable until manually reset. 🛠 Technical Observations: Likely caused by firmware instability or poor memory management on the device. No local fallback or direct control options — fully cloud-dependent. Possibly overheating or stuck in a loop due to low-quality hardware components. No error reporting or logging options available, which makes troubleshooting a black box. 📉 Final Verdict: This IR blaster is simply not reliable for everyday smart home use. Even under perfect conditions (stable power, excellent Wi-Fi, minimal device load), it fails repeatedly. If you rely on this for automation — like turning on the AC or TV remotely — it will let you down. ⚠️ Recommendation: If you’re serious about a smart home setup, skip this device. Look for ESP8266/ESP32-based IR blasters that can run ESPHome or Tasmota, or consider brands like BroadLink which have better long-term stability and user control. Rating: 1/5 Summary: Frequent disconnections, zero reliability, and very poor firmware. Not suitable for smart home use unless these issues are fixed.

Review
I initially received a defective unit that wouldn’t power on, but the seller promptly replaced it within a day. The after-sales support was excellent. The product itself is impressive. It connects seamlessly to 2.4GHz WiFi via the Smartlife app. I’ve integrated it with an Atomberg fan, a Whirlpool AC, and a Panasonic AC. It allows me to control the on/off functions, temperature, fan speed, and cooling mode on both ACs. For the fan, it supports basic on/off functionality out of the box. However, to enable speed control, I set up scenes in the Smartlife app for different speeds and then used Alexa routines to trigger specific scenes based on voice commands. Now, it works perfectly. Overall, I'm satisfied with this purchase.

Amazing Product for old IR based devices.
The AZIOT IR Blaster is a compact, user-friendly device that centralizes control of all your infrared appliances. Positioned centrally, it integrates seamlessly with smart devices via the Smart Life app and supports voice commands through Google Assistant and Alexa. This functionality allows for the creation of custom routines and automations, enhancing convenience. Traditional remotes often cost over ₹300 and require battery replacements, whereas the AZIOT IR Blaster eliminates these hassles by managing multiple devices from a single, secure location. Its learning mode further enables the creation of personalized remotes within the app, offering a versatile and cost-effective solution for smart home management. To enhance its versatility, incorporating compatibility with Bluetooth-based remotes would enable control over a broader range of modern devices, providing a unified solution for both IR and Bluetooth-controlled appliances.

A good device for full Automation
A wonderful device for people struggling with too many remote controls. It suppotrs manual remote reading as well. And Automation is possible. I have tied it with Alexa and my AC not works automatically on a scheduled time. The UI is still not that great. Some functions of the AC remote are hard to make it read.

Alexa integration is quite tricky but it works...
Hi everyone this is a review for all of you guys who have been thinking twice thrice and maybe checking through reviews to make a conclusion of this product to purchase or not.... I'll clear it step by step This product really worked for me as I did expected to make it work for...like for smart integrations and alexa working capabilities you have to do a trick through the smart life app ( aziot products third party app ) to make your smart integrations work you have to :- 1. Open smart life app 2. There you can see a + icon on top right corner ( tap it ) 3. There you can see see a option to create a scene ( click it ) 4. On the very first thing you can see tap- to - run feature ( click it again ) 5. Open your ir blaster in that window and assign a button for that work and name it 6. Open your alexa app>make a routine>then where you want to make that desired automation ( click scenes in routine making in alexa ) click it Now it's done you're okay to go with it...

Title: Absolutely NOT a "Universal" Remote—Complete Waste of Money!
Calling this an "Universal Smart Remote" is a massive stretch. It only supports a very limited handful of basic IR-based remotes and fails miserably at the modern setups most of us actually use. In an era dominated by IPTV and modern DTH systems, this device couldn't pair with either of my set-top boxes—including my standard Airtel setup. To make matters worse, it completely fails to recognize or pair with BLDC fan remotes. Its compatibility is so incredibly limited that it is virtually useless for a modern household. If you are looking for a true universal blaster to consolidate your devices, skip this one entirely. It is a complete waste of money!

Flawless Alexa integration, but shocking manufacturing defects on a factory-sealed unit
I want to give a completely honest and fair review. On the software and performance side, this device is excellent. The app compatibility is seamless, and it works perfectly and smoothly with Alexa without any issues. Functionally, it does exactly what it is supposed to do. However, I am highly disappointed with the physical condition of the device right out of the box. I want to clarify that this is not the seller's fault, as the product was delivered to me completely factory-sealed. This clearly points to a major manufacturing and Quality Control (QC) failure at the brand's end. As you can see in the attached pictures, there are two unacceptable physical defects on this brand-new, sealed unit
