Worth the price
This was great for testing charging of a INIU Power Bank with a Big Blue Solar Powa panel. It helped me gauge the thru-put. Worth the price. That said the Big Blue while good even in best sun does not quite deliver the thru-put advertised and expected. Close though.

Invaluable tool for testing USB device usage and capacity.
This has become a mainstay of my product testing arsenal. Easy to use, clear information, and multiple connection methods makes this tiny little thing capable of all kinds of USB based testing. I primarily use it for verifying the capacity of usb power banks as well as usb solar panels (since there is often no way to see what rate you're charging at without one of these) Be aware that there are conversion losses in the banks themselves. a 10k mah (37wh) battery SHOULD take about 42Wh to charge, and provide around 32Wh usable capacity for example. Some cheaper usb battery packs will rate their capacity based on the amount it takes to charge them as opposed to the actual capacity and this helps shine a light on these cases of corner cutting that your average buyer would have no way of testing while being close enough that they don't doubt the honesty of the rating.

Inconsistent
If you want to get the most out of this product read about it and experiment with it yourself: below are my observations. The display defaults to large fonts of Voltage, Amps and Watts after 1 minute in any display (I like this) however I don't know how to turn it off yet. It does NOT turn on when connected to just a power supply to check the output voltage...unless you plug in the adapter it came with and IF you plug in your type USB-C cable "the right way" in other words if you rotate the C plug 180 degrees the display comes on or not. I needed to rotate the screen when using it on my laptop, it was not easy for me to figure this out so I will tell you what I did, single click the button until you get to Settings then long press until 1-4 choices appear, single click until you get to 4, it does say "screen rotation" and long press to choose, then to "exit" single click until you get to 9 "exit" and long press to get out of Settings. It tells you correctly the direction of the flow of current UNLESS you rotate the screen and then the flow arrows are backwards, a long press will set the timer to zero from any screen (except Settings) and it tells you the temperature of something, the device itself perhaps but it is in Celsius which I do not like and I don't know if it can be changed to Fahrenheit (I think not). It is hard to read the small font but the most important information to me anyway (Volts, Amps, Watts) is quite easy to read, if your eyesight is poor you should consider buying a unit with a larger display. Even with all the inconsistencies I still like the little gadget more than what I dislike about it. I will keep it. Update: It does tell you the temperature in Fahrenheit but it is in dark grey and I could not see it.

Actually Has Turned Out to be Surprisingly Useful
I juggle a ridiculous number of gadgets that all want to charge at different voltages, speeds, and cable types — plus a whole ecosystem of motorcycle gear (helmet comms, heated vest and glove batteries, the works). Some of the newer devices even negotiate up to 10V instead of the usual 5V, which makes guessing what’s happening behind the scenes a losing game. This little tester has been a lifesaver. It lets me see exactly what’s being pulled, what voltage a device is negotiating, and whether something is actually charging the way it claims. At home or on the road, it’s made managing the chaos a whole lot easier.

Great meter for the price!
Great little USB meter. Provides all the information that I needed to test my PD charging devices. Would highly recommend.

Must have for the person everyone else goes to when USB problems arise
One of the best testers out there. The 32volt top end and 8amp capability are a step up from many others and provide for future use with increased USB ranges, which mostly now are 20v or less and 5 amps or less. Easy to read color display and multiple parameter outputs will satisfy any question about the USB charger and connections. The video shows it measuring USB modes 2,3,A,and F consecutively. It even provides two graphical modes that will show if there is an unstable output, spikes or dropout that might not be visible with just a numeric display. To get the best utilization out of it invest in a pair of socket to socket (F to F) and a pair of plug to plug (M to M) adapters for your most used USB type. With the adapters you will be ready to use the tester in any configuration or position from charger to end point device. Also a great device to check that your backup Li power pack is delivering what it says. John Z

Works great
This was delivered on time. I misunderstood a few things in my testing and the manufacturer was quick to respond to my questions. I believe that I tested every J7-c configuration. While I cannot vouch for the accuracy - it did what I needed - I can state that everything worked. There are some limitations in the device, but more on that below. Most of the limitations seem to be due to destination plug standards. USB to J7-c to USB to lightning Input - I tested this with both a powerpack and plugged into the wall charger Output - to a magnetic charger for an Apple Watch Result - perfect USB to J7-c to Type-C to lightning Input - I tested this with both a powerpack and plugged into the wall charger Output - to a iPad Result - perfect Type-C to J7-c to USB to Apple magnetic charger Input - I tested this plugged into the wall charger Output - to a magnetic charger for an Apple Watch Result - no output, however, the manufacturer told me of this limitation: "Apple devices don't support charging like this because Apple’s charging system is strict, it with a charging identification chip. If you use this usb tester to test Apple devices, it only supports Type C-Type C-lightning or USB-USB-lightning or USB-Type C-lightning." Type-C to J7-c to USB to mini Input - I tested this plugged into the wall charger Output - to a Garmin Result - same as last test, probably due to same "standards" limitation Type-C to J7-c to USB to micro Input - I tested this plugged into the wall charger Output - to a powerpack Result - same as last test, probably due to same "standards" limitation Type-C to J7-c to Type-C Input - I tested this plugged into the wall charger Output - to a iPad Result - perfect MicroUSB to J7-c to USB to USB micro to a powerpack Input - I tested this plugged into the wall charger Output - to a powerpack Results - Success MicroUSB to J7-c to USB to Type-C to a magnetic charger for an Apple Watch Input - I tested this plugged into the wall charger Output - to a magnetic charger for an Apple Watch Results - Success MicroUSB to J7-c to USB to USB mini to a Garmin Input - I tested this plugged into the wall charger Output - to a Garmin Results - Success MicroUSB to J7-c to USB to USB mini to a magnetic charger for an Apple Watch Input - I tested this plugged into the wall charger Output - to a Garmin Results - J7-c showed input power level, but no output power created In summary, a) the J7-c with USB input worked great for all output types I tested b) the J7-c with Type-C input worked fine when the output was Type-C c) the J7-c with MicroUSB input d) J7-c use with Apple Lightning can be problematic This fits my needs now that I know the limitations and I recommend this to other users.

Gör sitt jobb bra
Underbar sak som gör sitt jobb väl. Där ser man om det drar någon ström eller inte laddar alls. Bra verktyg.
