Great dichlor shock. Add in at night. In the morning w filter pump running water is crystal clear. I use this about once a week when it’s very hot out in summer. It’s great when u don’t want to increase your chlorine levels. It also appears to add some CYA which is a nice buffer for your chlorine so the sun won’t eat it up. Great product. Only thing to remember is to add on a day when it’s not windy. On a nice still day just walk around the pool and put it in right from the bag. No mixing.

We've been purchasing Clorox XTRABLUE Plus for a couple of years now. It is a great chorine pack, but it includes other chemicals to keep your pool clean and clear. They claim it kills Bacteria & Algae in Swimming Pools, Swim-Ready in 15 Minutes. I don't know how effective it is for bacteria and algae. I do know it's quality chlorine.The only problem I've had with this is it contains cyanuric acid. Along with 3" chlorine tabs, which also contain CYA, it can boost the CYA levels in the pool which can lead to chemical imbalances.

It works incredibly fast, especially after heavy rain, a bunch of people have been swimming, or the water is just starting to look a little cloudy or questionable.I love that you don't have to wait forever to use the pool afterward. The fact that it's swim-ready in as little as 15 minutes is a HUGE plus, especially during the summer when telling everyone they can't get in the pool for the rest of the day isn't exactly an easy sell.It's also been great for keeping algae under control. After shocking, the water looks noticeably clearer and brighter, and I haven't had to fight that stubborn green tint nearly as much. The granular formula is easy to use, and having the 12-pack is much more convenient than realizing you're out right when the pool decides to turn cloudy overnight.If you have a pool and want something straightforward that tackles bacteria, algae, and cloudy water without a ton of hassle, this is definitely worth keeping in your pool supplies. It makes maintaining clear, clean-looking water a whole lot easier.

We love clorox pool and spa. It helps maintain our pool and keep it healthy and clear. Works wonders in our pool. With kiddos we love that its hard to open but also is swimable quickly. There is a strong odor when pouring it but it is a strong chemical. But works wonders!

Great product. Lives up to the Clorox brand name. My inground pool water is beyond crystal clear. Doesn’t not burn off in high temperatures or strong sunlight. Well worth the money. I have switched over all my pool products go Clorox.
