Enjoy this Traditional game for 2 players with this guess your opponent's mystery character before they guess yours. The youngest players goes first. Players take turns to ask a simple YES or No question. For example, " Does your character have a beard" depending on the answer, you will close the door(s) to any any faces you know are NOT your opponent's mystery character. You can make it even more challenging, pick two characters each instead of one. A great fun game that encourages your child the skill of logical thinking and the art of elimination. Suitable for 6 years and above age children's. Set comes complete with character sheets and 2 game trays.

The game of snakes and ladders is of course well known so there is no need to comment on that. But this one has a few things that we don't like.1) Some of the snakes are a bit unclear as to where exactly they start. Sometimes the tongue of the snake peeks across onto another square to that where the head is located, so from which square should you go down?2) When progressing as every 2nd number is missing, and some others are partially covered by graphics, then sometimes the numbers not very clear so it is too easy to make a mistake and go the wrong direction. Most adults make this mistake, so for a small child it is difficult.3) The board only folds up in one direction and this is not indicated. So for a very small child (such as my 3 year old) they cannot understand this and are more likely to break the product while trying to fold it up.4) The box is much bigger than it needs to be. The board takes up just about 1/3 of the size of the box and the other pieces could fit underneath easily.

Beyond a joke.
For a chess board the setup is wrong. The bottom left of the board should have a black square and if algebraic notation is used should have an A below it. Also it came with wrong pieces. It is missing a white Bishop and has three white Knights. I can send a photo if required. I wish a refund and think returning it would be a waste of all our time and money and frankly I’d bin the lot of them if I were you as they are an incorrectly designed product and are not fit for purpose. I bought it to teach chess to children and wanted it not to be valuable or precious but from the get go it is literally unusable.

The board is incorrect!
Unfortunately the numbers and letters down the sides of the boards are printed incorrectly. This is a well priced set but would be a good board for children if it was printed correctly. When you play chess, you are supposed to start set up with a White Square on your right hand side but when you do this the letters and numbers are all sideways instead of facing each ooponent! - so not great when teaching kids to play!!!!

Guess who - came up with the poor design
PROSLove this game and was so excited to upgrade from the one I bough last year in LIDLHowever >>>>>CONSToo flimsyPlastic parts took a while to assemble then didn't feel robustFaces in static position on a fixed board that sits behind the windows - so it is easy to read the other persons charector as they look straight at it and you can tell where it is on the board - no opportunity to randomly placeNo cards to choose from - in older sets - we have taken a card at random from the pack for the charector - in this you just have to pickYou are meant to put a peg in the space of your chosen charector - this also shows the opponent your choice as they see you fiddling around with the horrid plastic peg that doesn't sit neatly in the housingAlso - as you have to reference your charectors features - you cant shut the door as you have to look at it and then it gives the game away when your opponent sees that you have kept that door open - then they check their graph and can tell your personLots of reasons why this will be given to the charity shop now -DISSAPOINTED -I will go back to the cheaper one that we bough in lidl last year

Good starter kit but some silly mistakes
For the money this kit is a good starting child’s set. But the board is set up incorrectly. The bottom right square should be white to allow you to set up the pieces properly, so that the queens sit on the correct squares. The letters should run across the top and bottom and the numbers go up the sides. This board to set it up it has to be rotated 90 degrees. Also the numbers go up on one side and down on the other which kind of defeats the point and makes no sense. However, if you ignore the lettering and numbers, it is a good starter kit, and I had all the right pieces. If you are going to make a toy though try and get the basics right.
