I got this for my other half. He has crumbling discs in his back and arthritis in his legs, due to a lifetime of riding motorbikes. The pain always was at it's worse in the afternoon, and he was popping codeine and other painkillers that weren't doing anything. The reason for the late review is because it said to ask your doctor if you have heart problems, which he has. So he went to his GP and she said it would be fine. Since he has been using this, his pain has gone. To be able to use something for a while that can give you a few hours of relief is a godsend. He's over the moon with it. When you have chronic pain it really brings your mood down, but since using this he is more relaxed. To know that if your pain is bad you can attach this TENS machine for a while and get some relief from it is brilliant. I would definitely recommend it for people with chronic pain who would give anything to have it go away for a few hours. I wish I had got him it years ago.

I was very sceptical about buying this product, but as I have suffered with degenerative back pain for a long time I thought, I would give it a go. The instructions are easy to understand and the machine itself is easy to use. For the first time in a lot of years I was completely free from pain, this seemed to start as the machine was switched on, and carried on for several hours after it was switched off. I realize it will not get rid of the pain forever, but to have hours free of pain was more than I had ever thought possible. It works for me.

This machine is amazing!The package included 8 electrodes, one tens unit, instructions, a battery and a warranty.Since using the unit my chronic shoulder pain (due to nerve damage) has significantly reduce, I’ve gone from taking 2 ibuprofen every four hours (daily) to nothing at all. The machine provides me with instant relief, I wish I’d found it sooner!Also, this set provides you with really useful information as to the placing of the electrodes depending on your pain/provlem. It also tells you what pulse width and pulse mode to set it at (see picture).

Easy to apply and set the appropriate electrical discharge level, intensity and function. The principal behind its use at the relevant pain sites really does break the chronic pain experience. The instructions and illustrations in the user guide are of a high quality and clarity. The pads have a good adhesive property and last a long time with many applications and are non-irritating on the skin, even after more than an hour of use at any one time. A fantastic product for anyone with muscular/skeletal chronic pain or an acute flare-up of fibromyalgia. If in doubt at all on its suitability for you, seek advice from your GP first.

I'd just like to say that I managed, through clumsiness, to snap off the belt catch on the back of my TENS machine. I called the company and they were kind enough to send me a new one. They don't normally supply these parts but it arrived in the post today. All praise to them and my thanks.
