Review: As a DIY lover and a wannabe professional, I've owned a ton of tool belts and holsters, and I have to say, the DEWALT Impact Holster is simply phenomenal! I picked this up recently on desertcart, and boy has it been almost the first tool in my workday routine. First off, the build quality is exactly what you expect from DEWALT -- tough, durable, and ready to go to work! It is constructed from heavy duty poly fabric, and you can just feel it in the construction and the stitching. I'm not worried at all about this thing falling apart after a few tough jobs! There is a heavy duty harness, and you can just tell this is meant to last. But most impressive is the thoughtfulness of the design. The angle of the holster makes for excellent drill balance so that my impact driver isn't constantly flopping around, or digging into my leg. This is a significant relief for me, especially when I am moving about, climbing a ladder, or contorted in some awkward position - it is just much more comfortable! The adjustable strap, with a quick release buckle, holds my impact driver perfectly in place, and I am not worried about it falling completely off when I bend over or am working above head. There is also a hook and loop backing that keeps the strap securely out of the way when I am not using it, which is a small but appreciated detail! And it isn't just about convenience in holding the impact driver - the holster offers great portability as well!
