Despite having had their claws trimmed regularly from when we first had them they both developed an aversion to their manicures... My vet recommended these hoods to me and I've found they do help calm the cats down. I still take my time though and make sure that any manicures end up on a positive note with treats and cuddles - we're getting there slowly but in the meantime these hoods are helping.
