Q: Looking for lightweight shoes for river(slippery rocks) and light hiking. which would be best keen astoria or wisper sandal?

I love my Astoria West’s. Most comfortable shoes I own. Great support for my feet. Not super light but the trade off is good support. Great on uneven terrain and wet surfaces. I’ve worn mine kayaking and hiking. And everywhere else

Q: Hi, what is the height of the heels?

These shoes are extremely comfortable and pretty flat. The difference in height between the ball of the foot and the heel is less that 1/2 an inch.

Q: Should you go up a size if you wear 7.5

US7.5 fits me well in the Keen Astoria West. For reference, I am a size 8.5 in Keen Targhees and a US8 in Nikes, Hokas, and Asics. The leather ones get mouldy if you store them in a closet so I prefer the non-leather ones in the Astoria Wests.
