Made a dumb decision and pressed on the front brake while literally having half of the caliper open and my brake oil ended up leaking everywhere snd the brakes were mushy, ended up seeing a guy on youtube use this one for his MX4 and without a doubt for the money it’s good since it also comes with the oil that works perfectly fine.Unfortunately the brakes squeak very loudly, but I am going to just use them and hopefully they “seat in” as my dad said but if they don’t I’ll end up ordering a new front rotor from aliexpress as literally no where else did I see any replacement ones except for Luna Cycles selling some REAR replacements so🤷‍♂️

I have a number of bikes with hydraulic disc brakes now so I figured it was way past time to start learning how to bleed, purge, and fix them.After looking around a lot I decided to get this kit since it seemed to have everything that I needed, had good reviews and ratings, and was pretty cheap.Having just started using it I can't speak to using all of the parts for all of the different types of brakes but for the ones I have it does indeed have everything I need, including the mineral oil brake fluid. All pieces seem to be good quality and fit the threaded pieces just fine, good seals on the adapters, and a nice little box that stores everything. And this is pretty necessary since there are so many pieces to it.There is a small instruction sheet that comes with it and covers the basics of the different brake types, I wouldn't expect the directions to be tailored to every single brake type of course. So I did watch some Youtube videos for specific information on my particular brakes.So, highly recommended - at least from an amateur mechanic's standpoint and indeed it does seem to have everything but the kitchen sink!

Great kit. I could pull my rear brake lever all the way to the hand grip with no resistance. Ordered this kit because of all the parts and 2 bottles of fluid. I have never done a brake bleed before but thought I would give it a try. I was easily able to "burp" the brake line by following some instructions on Youtube. I got all the air out of the system without having to do a complete bleed. The brakes work great now. The kit includes everything you need and includes lots of adapters for different brands of brakes. I would highly recommend this kit. Easy to use and you will save a bundle of money compared to having the work done at a bike shop. Darryl

Did a full front and rear brake bleed with this set, and it performed the job admirably for the price. The quality of most of the items is *fine* (especially for the cost), however the syringes truly are pretty bad, as the plunger likes to get jammed/move stickily. Otherwise, everything was leak free, fit well, and worked as intended.
