Bought this for my girlfriend, really good fit, nice and thick to keep her warm but not enough to leave her feeling uncomfortable. I was surprised at how well they stay up. The material is elastic enough to keep them in place without being uncomfortable. Looks very nice with her skirt, would recommend.

I bought these socks in both blue and white as I wanted some long socks for winter but not just plain old black or grey. As i'm pretty short (5"3) they do come over my knee but since i'm a dancer they sadly are too tight to wear full length but perfectly fine when worn folded below my knees. they are pretty soft and quite comfy to wear all day although not thicker than average socks. Pretty happy overall

Fit as expected. I did read reviews before buying so did as another reviewer advised and when wearing them with a skirt I wore tights underneath to help them stay up [it was a cold day, which helped! but you do have to pull them up occasionally] I am only 5'3" and they are about 3 inches above the knee, a bit tight around the top but they do give after a couple of wears so i know i'll have problems with them slipping down over time. I don't mind as they're not costly. It would be great if the companies who make these could make them longer to come higher up the thigh with a little more give at the top with the rubbery comfort grips like a sock version of hold up stockings. That would be perfect and I'm sure a lot of wearers would agree. Apart from that, they are lovely and quirky [I got the red and black too] I would buy these again.

Return purchase as the first pair were so good, sadly the extra two I bought are far too small, so much for one size. I washed them confidant that they would fit, so now I can’t even return them. Very disappointing at a time when I really cannot afford to waste money, will not buy again.

Doing a grand job on stage in our Am Dram...I am playing a Dame..(.not enough men) and these are perfect with my purple patent boots. They are a very comfy fit!

They're soft, colours are vibrant, a good make BUT they're made to fit for a person a UK size 8, I'm a proud size 12 but wearing these makes me feel like lump of fat! Very disappointing!
