Review: Great camera in a small package. - This has been a great video camera for me. Everything has been fine except for one single hiccup. Doing a long interview (around 50 minutes) 4k 30fps in a room around 85 degrees Fahrenheit with no air movement is too much. It did overheat. The camera was new to me at the time, so I didn't know how hard I could push it. I heard of the possible overheating from watching many YouTube videos, so, thankfully, I did have a cell phone recording at the same time, so I didn't lose any of the interview. I turned it back on immediately and was blowing on the back of the camera for the last 10-15 minutes of the interview to keep it cooled off. Honestly, even the smallest breeze does seem to be enough to keep it cooled off. Other than that one time I've never had any issue. It is a fantastic camera, and everything I've done with it looks absolutely amazing.
Review: Best camera for creators in 2023 - I have had the Sony ZV-E1 glued to my hand since it arrived in the mail. I have shot BTS and some scenes for a commercial shoot that we did, I have hosted a photographers meetup and used this to take photos, I have shot thumbnails for YT videos, created vlogs, and recorded an hour long podcast episode with breaks every 20-30 mins. I was worried when I bought this camera that it was going to be some gimmicky vlog camera but after doing extensive research and watching pretty much every Sony cam video made I decided it was worth the risk. As someone who is a run and gun shooter this camera is amazing for a grab and go situation. Now that companies are also starting to create rigs that fit this camera I am working on getting a small rig cage and kit so that I can also build it out. Even without the cage though this is also the perfect camera to run off of a gimbal, behind the scenes, a primary or secondary camera, or pretty much whatever your creative needs are depending on the situation. The intelligent auto feature in this camera makes it feel like you have a virtual assistant and the fact that the menu is so customizable makes it a really enjoyable efficient camera when shooting in manual as well. I am very pleased with this camera.

Sensor was spotless, screen spotless, body spotless, even had the sticker still on it, zero overheating issues, records like a charm.
