It's big and heavy, so suitable if you use several computers or have a heavy all-in-one monitor. Very sturdy. Comes assembled except for the optional keyboard tray which is simple to pop on and secure with the bolts. It takes up a lot of desk space. MEASURE YOUR DESK.It's also heavy to lift and lower. The release tabs on either side lift up to operate it but there is no 'hydraulic' or other assist so it takes a little muscle. I am 5'10" and find the fully extended hits about 2" above my elbow. When it is down, there is about a 3" rise left and there will not be room on your desk to work in front of it. I bought two and would probably buy it again. It feels solid. The little drawer in the front is also handy.

Like most of programmers do, I also have a back pain problem so if I sit for too long, my back hurts a lot. One of my coworkers recommended me to get a height adjustable stand-up desk, so I don't need to sit there for all day which really makes me tired and not good for my health. The stand up desk really helps my back problem. I can work while doing some miner stretching which helps to relief the pain and relax my back muscles. This stand up desk work surface is good for two 20 inch monitors. The installation is very easy following the manual. Only took me about 5 mins and a few steps. All I had to do was first raised the table up by pressing the two handles, then attached the keyboard tray onto the knobs then screw the knobs in to secure the tray, done. I love this desk! I love the size and the added keyboard ledge. It's perfect for my two monitors and I still have room for notes etc. It's easy to lift up and down.

I would give this desk 5 stars (it is very sturdy and well-made) save for one thing that I haven't figured out yet. When a small amount pressure is applied from resting my hands on the keyboard, the desk starts to lower. Is there a lock mechanism or are the shocks supposed to be strong enough on their own to resist this pressure?

The employees who have received these love them. They're easy to use and much more comfortable than sitting all day.

I only put the 1 star b/c it was required to write a review. Stay away from this product at all costs. They should call it the thief desk, b/c it lies and just steals your money. This is the biggest robbery I have experienced on Amazon. Watch out. They say they will take a return, but how do you return this big heavy bulky item that you had to cut away from the packaging even to see try and use it. Watch out. I recommend anything but this product. It is pretty in the picture but completely non-functional in practice. It is only good for proving the statement, "You can put lipstick on a pig, but it is still a pig".

I love to stand and work. Mine arrived dented but I was still able to put it together and use it. After a short time of using it I realized that I couldn't put it up as high as I needed to or as high as my co-workers would go. I noticed oil on one of the jacks. My handyman said that piece needed to be replaced because it was leaking and losing pressure - that's why it didn't go up high unless two people pull up together. I emailed but they sent me back a response that said they were out on holiday and that they would contact me but I've never heard back from them.
