These work
These things are finicky. I've bought some that work and some that don't. Some will only work in a PCI-E x1 port and some will work in a x16 or x8 port. This one works in any port. Highly recommended.I know mining is in Hibernation but if it does make a comeback and you need a riser then get these.

Killed GPU! 6-pin connector soldered incorrectly.
The 6 pin pci-e connector is soldered into the wrong spot, causing a short between the 12v and ground!It killed a RTX 3070 Founders Edition.This is serious quality control and needs to be addressed!Do not use this riser (or the 6-pin connection) without carefully verifying that it is soldered to the correct pin holes.

They work!
So far they have been excellent, no failures. Running 1 3080 with no issues. Only giving 4 stars due to the thermal pads on bottom being placed crooked on some.
