I saw mixed reviews on this light. Some say it stopped working after 6 months. Well as of day 1 I absolutely love this light. It’s dimmable, easy to install and I love the nightlight.

I recently installed the Matane 12 Inch LED Flush Mount Ceiling Light Fixture with Night Light, and it has been a fantastic addition to my home. Best light for family spaces makes winding down for bed time feel like a night at the movies regular day light is very very bright but makes day naps better with the night light setting. Very easy to switch from the 2 settings by just flipping the switch. Was super easy to hook up like seriously took 5 minutes 😳 10/10 would buy this again

Updated 2/16/26 - dropping my 3 star to one star. We came home from a trip to another light out. Sadly these are not lasting at all as described and is a huge letdown, we will be replacing with another brand from another store. Don’t waste your money. Bought in November 2024, almost immediately installed. The good-they’re minimalistic and clean-they look good in almost every room and it’s nice to have a “warm” light option instead of only bright white. Good size for most rooms. They were easy to install and the dimming is a great feature if you need it but it’s easy to toggle through warm or bright without replacing the switch. Cons- we put three on one switch(pre-wired) and one or two of them like to get out of sync with the others so we have to toggle a lot to get it back in sync. But the biggest CON is they they really aren’t worth the cost, we have had 3 lights(on different connections) go out now in the last 3 months so the first one to go was within a year and we don’t leave the lights on consistently to equal their lifetime. Thought they would last longer being LED but it’s not much different than a bulb.

The design includes a loop on the plate screwed to the electrical box. The light itself has an attached wire that hooks into the loop so that the lamp hangs in place making the electrical connections hassle free. I did have to replace the dimmer I had with one of the compatible models on the product page. Both the main lamp and nightlight dim. It’s perfect in our small TV/guest room.

First, the price is great for 90+CRI. Included hardware was good quality and the base mounts easily and securely as well as the light itself, and like others have mentioned there is a handy wire that hooks on the base for support while wiring. Speaking of wires, the ends of the wires are tinned so there is no hassle with stray wires. This is a nice touch and really unexpected at this price point! The light itself shines to the four corners of the room - I mounted these in a 12' x 10' and 11' x 10' room, plus a hallway. Some of the 80 CRI lights have a tough time with corner shadowing so this must be close to stated 90 CRI ratin. The minor negatives (and reason for 4 stars instead of five): I wish it did not have that yellowish "nite light" option that displays if you switch on and off within 5 seconds. My experience (YMMV) was the ugly yellow lite came on when I initially turned on the light. When I got the normal light to come on, if I don't leave that on for 10 seconds before turning off the next time into the room the light turns on the nite light. Maybe this is because I am using dimmer switches? Regardless, it's more pain than it's worth. A turn-off nite light option would be nice. Also, and this is nit picking, it would be nice to have five options rather that three for light color setting. I have used five light option fixtures in primary rooms in the house and those are much more helpful dialing in the desired lighting.

Very nice little light.... I especially like the night light part of it because I have a cat that's difficult to see at night and this night light allows me to see if she's around.. very easy to install... I did have to buy a new dimmer switch... But all in all I would purchase this again

Using this light on my porch and it works well. I really like the up light in amber as a night light to keep my porch softly illuminated. The down light is EXTREMELY bright. I rarely use it but if you need to harness the sun, it's there. I'm using it outdoors in Florida and so far it's doing well in the humidity. I've had it about 5 months. We'll see how it does long term, but it's cheap enough not to be upset if it fails. Coming back to update; the light is still going strong and made it through the rainy season. No bugs have gotten trapped in it yet either. Still very satisfied

Die Montage war einfach und schnell erledigt. Besonders praktisch sind die 3 Lichtstufen – warm, neutral und kalt – so hat man für jede Situation das passende Licht. Die Lampe ist schön flach, wirkt modern und macht einen hochwertigen Eindruck. Für Flur und Bad absolut ausreichend hell. Klare Kaufempfehlung!

Bought set of 4 for my 900 Sq basement. Excellent lighting with 3 different ambiance to choose from . Enough to cover the whole area. Easy to install. Earthing cable to ensue added safety. Quality product and looks good as well. Light weight. Cable anchor ⚓️ protection to keep and drop hazard. Over all value for money.

Great modern looking lights, were a nice upgrade to the dated fixtures in our home.

It's very bright and very easy to install. Highly recommended if you need a cost-effective light to illuminate your room.
