7 Days to Die (Xbox One)

Absolutely love this game. I was told about it by a friend who has played it on PC since it first began, he told me how great it was and that it's coming to consoles. A few hours of watching videos later and I pre-ordered it.It's certainly not the best looking game out there BUT I believe that if the gameplay holds out and it's decent then graphics can afford to be not 100% and it's safe to say the gameplay holds out! This is the zombie game that I've wanted since I even knew zombies were a thing - online play, scavenging buildings, crafting weapons and tools, killing zombies and living out my zombie apocalypse dream!At first it's quite daunting as there is a brief tutorial that shows you through a few basics and then it throws you into the deep end but for me that was OK as I knew that struggling for a while would pay off. People want games handed to them on a plate, they want them to be too accessible in my opinion. There aren't enough games that are so challenging and require you to spend time learning everything it has to offer, I find it much more fun finding out something I've not discovered before than being able to just see what I've not discovered in a warts-and-all tutorial guide on the pause menu like Minecraft!This game is also an ongoing thing (like Minecraft), the developers are going to be adding and fixing things all of the time in regular updates, same as the PC version.I'll agree that this game isn't easy and it's not the best looking game but it's certainly one of the most fun games I've played in a long time and it's incredibly enjoyable living out the zombie apocalypse fantasy with mates online. Spend some time on it, learn the basics yourself, all it takes is a bit of time and you're away. It's well worth it and it's only going to get better!!!

This is a fairly decent purchase, Although i feel as if you need a friend to play it with as I'm the type of person to get bored playing on my own. It's a very fun game with a lot of potential with updates which could make the game even funner than it already is!

I love Minecraft and I love survival horror/Zombie games, 7 days to Die is a dream come true, a perfect blend of the two games in one.Or so you thought!Now I love how microsoft is slowly bringing these PC games to the xbox and I am in full support of it. I even have a couple of the beta versions of games such as Subnautica and ARK. I appreciate these are not finished games and they have issues, but they have not been put on a disk and sold as finished games like 7 Days to Die has, these other games are digital only and work in progress.Unfortunately this game is more like an Alpha version of a game, it has so many issues I have stopped counting, the graphics in most cases are worse than minecraft and the frame rate is all over the place. I am devasted to say the least, I wanted this to be an epic game as the concept is brilliant and it could have been fantastic.Instead you are buying a rushed, unfinished game that does not satisfy in any way and there are too many issues which ruin the realism and playability.I am disgusted at the quality of this game, I cannot for the life of me understand how this got approved to be sold on a disc in the current condition.As a result I am sending this mess back and I shall check in a few months/years to see if they have bothered to fix it!!!

Big zombie game fan but not much into the Minecraft world so took me a while to know what was going on! Graphics are average and some random bugs and awkward movements stopped this being a 4 star but given the nature of the game not sure if this normally comes with the territory. Pretty tricky managing your inventory on the controller, seems well suited to a pc so in times of crisis you can forget getting the right tools in a hurry.Once I got into it though I did spend a load of time crafting & building, thinking I was doing a great job but not just zombies around to ruin your day, a bear camped right at my spawn spot so that cause me the most deaths by a country mile! Split screen is great! Not so common nowadays.Given the price too it was well worth a try.

I bought this for my daughter as I already own it as a download and thought she'd enjoy it as she loves mine craft.This game is basically minecraft for adults. Way better graphics and everything than minecraft though.I am totally addicted to this game and play for hours and hours.For those who don't know yet what the gameplay entails.......You can play in single player offline mode which will also allow you to have another player join in in split screen. You can also play online with others.You are a survivor in a zombie apocalypse. To start you have simple tasks to perform which are aimed at showing the basics on playing the game. The aim is to keep going as long as you can. Zombies are everywhere and every 7th day they will attack in droves. So it will be day 7 then day 14, day 21, 28 and so on. You can change the game settings to make things easier or harder and for those who just like to build and explore you can even turn zombies off so there are none. You can change game settings at any time during gameplay. The game saves automatically. Addictive and challenging.I do find it crashes a lot though.... Not sure if that's just my Xbox one though as it happens with a lot of my games.I would definitely recommend this game. Excellent graphics. Can get quite intense and there is loads to explore.

It works perfectly not a scratch on it which was quite a shock since I bought used. I love this game and stream it on my Twitch channel would definitely buy from them again. And am very pleased with how fast it got here as well. 😊😊😊
