Havoc Trucks Havok Skateboard Trucks,Wheels,Bearings,Grip Pkg Pro Si

I bought these trucks/wheels/bearings based upon the recommendation of the reviews here on Amazon and I could not have been happier. This combo is a much better than expected. My son had gotten into skateboarding and was given a $13 "box-store" skateboard as a gift. I used to have a nice Variflex board back in the day and was very disappointed in the performance of his board when I tried it out. Of course, what can you expect for $13?! He liked the design/artwork but obviously needed some performance upgrades. Yet, I didn't want to spend a lot of money on something he may not use; He hadn't convinced me that he was going to ride alot. So I decided to invest $25(shipping and product) on this combo to see if it would help out the performance. The grip tape was not needed since his board was new but everything else was installed onto his board. Wow! What a difference! The wheels are wide and seem to wear very well. The trucks/bushings are not too hard or soft; just right for lean-turning. The bearings were very nice and have a "sealed" blue, side wall to prevent dirt contamination. I don't ride like I used to but I can definitely vouch that this is a very nice combo deal to use if you are looking to make your cheap, "box store" skateboard into a nice rider. So far, my son has been riding this board very regularly and with no premature wear or problems. I would buy again without hesitation. I haven't tried any "pro-style" wheels/trucks/bearings yet to compare them with but my son and I are very satisfied with the way it is currently.

This package is a steal, knowing that the components are all good. The trucks feel broken in from the start but not too loose, the bearings were different(got the Amphetamine ABEC 5) but i'm not complaining. These bearings felt great, just gotta break them in. The grip felt pretty coarse, like in between Jessup(not very coarse) and Mob(super coarse). Hardware is just hardware, as long as it isn't Iron Horse hardware, it'll do fine. The only thing I didn't like were the wheels, they were too soft for me but for the price, it is still a good deal. By the way, this package does not come with bearing spacers, in case anyone was wondering.

Look, if you're getting into Skateboarding, this'll do just fine. I used this with a $20 blankboard, took it to the park, and their boards were lighter than the trucks that were on mine. Of course he said he had a $350 board, and mine was $40, but it's heavy. It tilts and turns, the wheels are good softer (not the hard white) and the bearings are standard. For the money? ITS AMAZING. There is no way you'll find a just-add-wood setup for the same with even half the quality. They only reason this is 3 star and not 5 is because I rated this based on the performance, not the price to performance. It's 3/5ths of the best trucks I've ever used.

Pretty good for the price. This is not the greatest quality but it will get you rolling on a budget if you don't have anything. Obviously if you have the money go to your local skate shop and get quality parts. But like i said this got me rolling so this will do until I upgrade. I will say though, this product says the trucks are for a size 8 board, they are not a size 8, they are too small on my board which is a size 8. These trucks are actually made for a 7.75 board. So if you have a size 8, these will work but they are not flush with the board so you can't do anything primo what so ever. If you have anything above a size 8 I would recommend finding something else, otherwise you will have a hard time on your board. Other than the trucks everything else is fine, grip tape is good, bearing are good, and wheels are good, though I would have preferred white hard wheels apposed to soft black. Also the stars I gave reflect what I got for the price.

My 11 year old son was given a deck and he was extremely excited to get it set up to ride. I purchased this kit because it was complete with everything needed and had good reviews. My son is a beginner so I was looking for something that looked good, rolled well and turned easily and this kit fits the bill perfectly. This kit did not com with any installation instructions but with a quick Google search I had everything I needed to put it together for him. The trucks that showed up looked sharp with no green like shown in the picture. The bearings were red and turned very well. After about 15 minutes my son was off and riding and the setup looks great!
