During lock down I wanted to make the most of my daily exercise so I wore a 10 kg weight vest, then during subsequent exercise rides I added weight to my ruck sack until had 17 kg plus the vest. The seat post stood up to this extra load, including thumping over speed bumps ( there were times that my legs were too tied to stand up ). The lay back nature of the post gives a welcome change from a time trial position, is quite comfortable and allows more weight on the back wheel for traction ( the bike was originally intended as a winter snow bike, but with slicks is an admiral summer cruiser ). Recommended .

Great seat post and does the job I brought for, down side it's quite heavy. But for price it's great

Was perfect satin black finish to match other parts on the bike. Takes a while to come but I was aware of that. Very happy with product and purchase.
