Disappointing Seller
I purchased this game as a gift for a 10 year old child and could not give it to him. The box was all beat up and the plastic wrap around the box was torn up. Not fit for a gift. Very disappointing.

We stopped playing after one evening
We bought Backwords some time ago, thinking that it would be a lot of fun, especially for me, since I have spent much of my adult life saying words backwards. The problem is that the rules are such that success depends on the people who are playing the game pronouncing the backward word correctly. This isn't as easy as it seems, at least for people who haven't spent their lives saying words in reverse and haven't created their own rules when faced with certain letter combination, such as the "ht," which frequently occurs when word are spelled backwards. (Imagine the number of different pronunciations of the word "hguone.") So, after one evening with the game, when what we thought would be a lot of fun turned into frustration, we haven't taken the game out again and probably never will.
