Signal strength dropped to 20% and I was suffering from signal loss and pixelation - added these in line (about half way along cable run) and it boosted signal strength to 70%. Works a treat now! Review: Great version for skyQ. - These work great for skyQ which is why I upgraded from a previous model of these amplifiers when I got skyQ installed. Mine are about half way along a 40 meter run of cable and bring my signal right up to approximately 90 %. Therefore it shall be placed close to the satellite dish (but indoors / weather protected). **Q: Just had this delivered, check everything, I've lost most of channels working before with no signal, what could be wrong?** A: I have 4 of these and they all do an excellent job. I would have though that it is unlikely that the device its self is faulty, although it's not impossible of course. Maybe you have installed it the wrong way round or in the wrong place. Or you have another fault such as a bad F type connector fitting/wiring - or a short circuit/water ingress on your coaxial cable from the dish. I suggest you remove the device to get back to your original configuration, see if it works, and go from there. **Q: Hi, why does it say in description, 'Broadband'?
