Very simple guide explaining one method of sheep shearing. Probably not the easiest method and certainly one likely to cause a bad back, but it is well explained, Explains how to set up combs and blades. Many things missed that should be included. For example: how to tip the ewe, shearing pen set-up, wrapping wool, dealing with different breeds(horns), blade shearingThe stuff about shearing sheep twice a year in Europe i have not come across. In the UK it is once per year and you are paid so little for it that people are breeding easycare sheep that don't need shearing. Not bad, handy hints

Great little book

This book is a complete waste of money. It looks like it was printed right of of wikihow. It. Shows you how to sheer ship yes but the lack of information leaves a novice unsure at best. You will need another source of information with this book. I.e when to shear, what to do with the wool ex. Fast shipong tho

Very easy read on how to shear a sheep - illustrations are good and provide a realist guide on the strokes and process.If you have not shorn a sheep this is a clear guide to minimise mistakes and get the strokes 'right'. Book should have common mistakes or common problems noted as it goes which would make it more dynamic read for the novice shearer. I enjoyed its simplicity.Having shorn sheep with basic scissors (not mechanical or manual shears ) when I was younger reading this back then would have made it easier.

Im about to start shear my herd in the mids of august, and this book/manual provided some really valuable shearing points... Would recommend it for every beginner!

This book would be more helpful if it was a book and not just on Kindle.
