The image quality is set for the machine software to use so, it is not really super high quality images and there is no sound. The only downside is that the clamping device, when mounted to the laser frame, interrupts the use of the laser. I just mounted it to the work table and no more problem. When not in use by the machine, it is installed as a "looking down " camera for other projects. I like this set up and will use it for many other things in my crafting and hobby work.
